Fishing Programs

Cape Kids Fish Club's programs are four days long and designed for two separate age groups:  children ages 8-10 & children ages 11-13.  For a listing of session dates in your community, view our Locations / Dates page.

Children Ages 8-10

Tuition for our summer 2020 program is $600 per child if enrolled by December 15th, 2020.  After December 15th, the tuition fee is $650 per child.  All expenses are included. 

 

Expenses include:

 

-2:1 Staff ratio

-Personalized fishing instruction

-Bait and tackle (all tackle provided: rods, reels, lures, etc.)

-Interactive workshop with marine biologist 

-Shark and sea star dissection

-Two deep-sea fishing trips

-Underwater ROV exploration

-Waterfront restaurant lunch (two days) 

-Fishing Photos

-Healthy snacks, juice boxes, bottled water

 

A $225 deposit is required to reserve your child's space in your desired session.  Payment is due in full no later than June 1st, 2020.  Registration may be completed online.  To enroll your child in our summer 2020 program, please complete our secure online registration form:  Ages 8-10 Registration Form

Children ages 11-13

Tuition for our summer 2020 program is $725 per child if enrolled by December 15, 2020.  After December 15th, tuition is $775 per child.  All expenses are included.

 

Expenses include:

 

-Four days sport fishing by private charter

-2.5/1 staff ratio

-Personalized fishing instruction

-Bait and tackle (all tackle provided: rods, reels, lures, etc.)

-Ample fishing time (5 children maximum per session / 6.5 hours per day) 

-Underwater ROV exploration

-Marine biologist workshop

-Fish tagging

-Shark dissection

-Fillet lesson

-Lobster trap haul

-GoPro video of child's experience

-Day's catch cleaned and filleted for dinner

-Healthy snacks, juice boxes, bottled water

Shipwrecks of Cape Cod:  Marine Archaeology Expedition

Cape Kids Fish Club's marine archaeology program is four days long and open to children ages 11-13.  For summer 2020, programs will be offered in Falmouth and Plymouth.  

Children ages 11-13

The tuition fee for our shipwrecks program is $450.  Expenses include:

-Expeditions by private charter

-Underwater ROV exploration

-3:1 Staff ratio

-Fishing (all equipment provided)

-Waterfront restaurant lunch (final day)

-Healthy snacks, juice boxes, bottled water

Cancellation Policy

 

A deposit is required for enrollment with balance due no later than June 1st, 2020.  Cancellation notice is required on or before June 1st, 2020 to ensure a refund of your tuition fee, minus minimum deposit.  If cancellation notice is provided on or before June 1st, your tuition fee will be refunded (minus minimum deposit).  Cancellation notice provided after June 1st, 2020 will result in forfeiture of full tuition payment.

Inclement Weather Policy

In the event of rain or other inclement weather, it is Cape Kids Fish Club's decision to continue or cancel the day's activities.  If a day is forecast for light or intermittent rain, the day's events will continue as scheduled.  If a day is forecast for significant rain or wind to the extent that Cape Kids Fish Club determines that the day's activities would be unsafe and not suitable for children, the day's activities will be rescheduled for Friday of the same week (a pro-rated refund will be provided to anyone who is unable to make the rain date).  If continuous and significant inclement weather is forecast for the duration of the week, Cape Kids Fish Club may cancel the week's session.  In the event of such a cancellation, parents will receive a full refund.
