Fishing Programs

Cape Kids Fish Club's fishing programs are four days long and designed for children of three different age groups:  ages 8-10, ages 11-13, & ages 14-15.  For a listing of session dates in your community, view our Locations / Dates page.

Children Ages 8-10

Standard tuition for our summer 2022 ages 8-10 program is $990.00 per child if enrolled by November 5th, 2021.  After November 5th, tuition is $1065.00 per childAn additional $75.00 discount is provided for last summer's enrollees (last year's parents should check email for promo code).  All expenses are included.

 

Expenses include:

 

-2:1 Staff ratio

-Four full days of activities (8.5 hours each day / 34 hours total)

-Personalized fishing instruction

-Bait and tackle (all fishing equipment provided: rods, reels, bait, etc.)

-Four days of "deep-sea" fishing by private charter

-Trip to and from Martha's Vineyard --(applies to Falmouth location only)

-Interactive workshop with marine biologist

-Shark and sea star dissections

-Underwater ROV exploration

-Waterfront restaurant lunch (last day)

-Mad Martha's Ice Cream

-Fishing Photos

-Healthy snacks, juice boxes, bottled water

-T-shirt

Children ages 11-13

Standard tuition for our summer 2022 ages 11-13 program is $1120.00 per child if enrolled by November 5th, 2021After November 5th, tuition is $1195.00 per childAn additional $75.00 discount is provided for last summer's enrollees (last year's parents should check email for promo code).  All expenses are included.

 

Expenses include:

 

-Four day program (8.5 hours each day / 34 hours total)

-4-day epic sportfishing experience by private charter

  -ALL sessions now include at least one trip to Monomoy for "keeper-sized" striped bass!!

-Minimum 3:1 staff ratio

-Personalized fishing instruction

-Bait and tackle (all tackle provided: rods, reels, lures, etc.)

-Ample fishing time (6 children maximum per session)

-Underwater ROV exploration

-Marine biologist workshop

-Fish tagging

-Shark dissection

-Fillet lesson

-Lobster trap haul

-Photos of child's experience

-Day's catch cleaned and filleted for dinner

-Healthy snacks, juice boxes, bottled water

Expenses include:

 

-Four-day program (8.5 hours each day / 34 hours total)

-4-day epic sportfishing experience by private charter  

   -(includes striped bass & cod and haddock trips!!!)

-Great white shark expedition with spotter plane

-Minimum 3:1 staff ratio

-Personalized fishing instruction

-Bait and tackle (all tackle provided: rods, reels, lures, etc.)

-Underwater ROV exploration

-Marine biologist workshop

-Fish tagging

-Shark dissection

-Fillet lesson

-Lobster trap haul

-Photos of experience

-Day's catch cleaned and filleted for dinner

-Healthy snacks, juice, bottled water

Kids and Sharks:  Great White Expeditions

Cape Kids Fish Club's single day shark expeditions are open to kids ages 11 through 15.  The tuition for this program is $275.00 per child if enrolled by November 5th, 2021.  After November 1st, tuition is $325.00 per child.  All expenses are included. 

 

Expenses include:

 

-Expedition by private boat charter

-Full day of "sharktivities" (8.5 hours)

-Minimum 3:1 staff ratio

-Spotter plane

-Workshop with marine biologist

-Transportation to and from shark alley

-Healthy snacks, juice boxes, bottled water

-Stop for ice cream

A 50% deposit is required to reserve your child's space in this program.  Payment is due in full no later than April 1st, 2021.  Registration may be completed online.  To enroll your child in our summer 2022 program, please complete our secure online registration form:  Shark Expedition Registration Form.

 

Cancellation Policy

 

A non-refundable deposit is required for enrollment with balance due no later than April 1st, 2022.  Cancellation notice is required on or before April 1st, 2022 to ensure a refund of your tuition fee, minus deposit.  If cancellation notice is provided on or before April 1st, your tuition fee will be refunded (minus minimum deposit).  Cancellation notice provided after April 1st, 2022 will result in forfeiture of full tuition payment.

Inclement Weather Policy (Fishing Programs)

In the event of rain or other inclement weather, it is Cape Kids Fish Club's decision to continue or cancel the day's activities.  If a day is forecast for light or intermittent rain, the day's events will continue as scheduled.  If a day is forecast for significant rain or wind to the extent that Cape Kids Fish Club determines that the day's activities would be unsafe or not suitable for children, the day's activities will be rescheduled for Friday of the same week.  If continuous and significant inclement weather is forecast for the duration of the week, Cape Kids Fish Club may cancel the week's session.  In the event of such a cancellation, parents will receive a full refund (all refunds shall be provided no later than 30 days from scheduled session start date).

Inclement Weather Policy (Kids and Sharks Program)

In the event of rain or other inclement weather, it is Cape Kids Fish Club's decision to continue or cancel the day's activities.  If a day is forecast for light or intermittent rain, the day's events will continue as scheduled.  If a day is forecast for significant rain, wind, or poor visibility to the extent that Cape Kids Fish Club determines that the day's activities would be unsafe or not suitable for children, the day's activities will be rescheduled for the Sunday immediately following your child's scheduled expedition date.  In the event of two consecutive inclement weather days, parents will receive a full refund (all refunds shall be provided no later than 30 days from scheduled session start date).
